Computing - Podcasts

A Podcast is a published sound recording found on websites.  The word ‘Podcast’ derives from ‘ipod’  and ‘broadcast’. A podcast could be a posting of an MP3 file on a website or regular broadcasts which listeners can subscribe to and download to play back on their PC or MP3 Player. A true podcast is updated regularly with new ‘episodes.’ You can broadcast to the world without the need for specialist equipment or a licence by created and publishing a podcast.
